Welcome to ScapeFX Wiki!

This wiki contains information about the ScapeFX MUD client.

ScapeFX is a Java based MUD client that is highly customizable with plugins to make it fit for your own particular MUD. It is different from most MUD clients available today where the player downloads his own client and connects to your MUD. ScapeFX is downloaded by the MUD administrator and installed on the MUD's website. Players then simply click on a "Play" button and connects to the game without having to download third party clients. Since ScapeFX is based on Java it is also crossplatform and will work for windows, unixes and mac.

ScapeFX features a skin plugin that makes it easy to customize the looks of the client for your particular game. It is also very easy to add graphical components such as maps, status monitors and other types of standard game components that are usually available to players in more graphical intense games.

Demo Clients Available
